Preparation Instructions:
I would like to thank Lindsay from Memphis Tennessee for taking the time to submit to us this famous Memphis best wings recipe. For step one, please take out a large sealable bowl and whisk together the white all purpose baking flour, garlic powder, lemon pepper, diced rosemary, diced thyme, and Louisiana cajun seasoning. Next take out a second mixing bowl, and beat together the large fresh whole eggs and cold fresh low fat milk. Coat the chicken in the egg and milk batter, then add it into the dry breading mix, place a lid on the bowl, and then toss the chicken to get an even coating of the breading. You will then want to chill the breaded chicken in the refrigerator for half an hour. While your chicken is chilling, take out your deep fryer, and then add in the pure vegetable oil. Bring the oil to a temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit, or 190 degrees Celsius. Fry your chicken for fifteen minutes, or until it's crisp and golden, and the meat is thoroughly white. While your chicken is cooking, take out a small saucepan, and add into it the Southern Comfort bourbon, Louisiana hot sauce, softened real salted butter, and French's Worcestershire sauce. Heat these ingredients over medium heat, stirring until a thick buffalo sauce has formed. You will then want to add your fried chicken into a sealable bowl, then pour all of the sauce into it. Seal the bowl, and then toss the chicken until each piece has a nice hearty coating of the buffalo wing sauce. Serve the wings hot with a medium size bowl of blue cheese dressing for dipping.
