Preparation Instructions:
This St. Patrick's Day buffalo wings recipe was sent in to us by Michael from Phoenix Arizona. To get started, please prepare your deep fryer, then add into it the pure peanut oil. Heat this oil to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, or 190 degrees Celsius. Once the oil is scorching hot, very carefully lower the lean chicken drummettes into the fryer, and let them cook for about thirteen to fifteen minutes, or until the outer skin is golden brown, and the inner meat is completely white. Set your fried chicken on to a plate that has been lined with napkins, so that some of the excess grease can drip off. Next take out a medium size saucepan, and add into it the La Victoria mild green enchilada sauce, softened real salted butter, fresh squeezed lemon juice, ground onion powder, ground garlic powder, white granulated sugar, and French's Worcestershire sauce. Whisk these ingredients together over medium heat, stirring until a thick and rich sauce forms. At this point you will want to do a quick taste test, just to make sure that you like the flavor. Moving along, next place your chicken into a sealable bowl, and then pour all of the sauce over the chicken. Tightly seal the bowl with a lid, then toss and shake the chicken until it's completely coated with the green sauce. Serve the chicken immediately while it's hot, along with a bowl of blue cheese dressing for dipping. We hope that you enjoyed this delicious recipe.
