Preparation Instructions:
This teriyaki buffalo wings recipe was submitted to us by Michelle of Richardson Texas. To get the recipe rolling along, please prepare your deep fryer, and then pour into it the pure peanut oil. Bring your peanut oil to a blistering temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit, or 190 degrees Celsius. Once you have achieved that temperature, you will then want to lower your lean chicken drummettes into it. Do be careful not to splash the oil around, as you don't want to get burned. Leave your chicken in the oil for about fifteen minutes, or until it's crisp and golden, and the meat on the inside it totally white. Once the chicken has been deep fried, set it aside to cool on a baking or cookie sheet lined with paper towels. Next take out a medium size cast iron saucepan, and add into it the Kikkoman teriyaki sauce, softened real salted butter, Tabasco pepper sauce, fresh squeezed lemon juice, ground cayenne pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and ground garlic powder. Heat all of these fresh and delicious ingredients over medium heat, constantly stirring until an even, smooth, and consistent buffalo wing sauce forms. You will then want to take out metal tongs, and then dredge each buffalo wing into the sauce, then set them on a serving platter. Once all of your chicken is coated in the sauce, sprinkle them with the finely diced spring onions. Serve the chicken hot, along with a small bowl of blue cheese dressing for dipping. Cheers, I really hope that you liked this unique and delicious Asian style buffalo chicken wings creation.
